The Nature of God (Jesse Johnson)We have been bringing our College and Career Group to the Foundry Conference since it began two years ago, and have been immeasurably blessed each time! The whole conference is extremely organized and well done, the fellowship is great, but above all, the teaching is always spot on, Biblically SOUND, and relevant. The speakers are always among some of the best we've heard, and we always leave each session feeling encouraged in the Word and convicted to pursue holiness more. Our group still talks about memories from the conferences all the time. Couldn't ask for more from a young adult conference!
The conference features sound, powerful preaching that highlights the need to submit to the Word of God in every area of life. We also sing songs that lift up the name of the Lord, combining excellent theology with good music. There are plenty of opportunities for fellowship, and we (both the youth and the leaders) have made great relationships because of the conference. The Foundry Conference played a big part in this revival and now the ministry and that age range are the fastest growing in our church. Because of the crisis of the missing young adults in most churches, I would highly recommend this conference to any church that has people in the target age range.
We brought our group to the Foundry Conference last year for the first time all the way from Atlanta GA and benefited greatly from it. The preaching was the highlight for our students. All the messages were Bible-saturated and sought to elevate our view of God and love Jesus more as we were reminded of the wonder of the gospel. Our students are still talking about the messages they heard at the conference. In addition to the preaching we experienced great fellowship with like-minded believers and were able to tour some of DC during our time. I would highly recommend the Foundry conference to all young adults in the area and beyond.
